Description
Whitefriars Glass, in London, made several styles of paperweights in 1977 for the Queens Silver Jubilee of her accession to the throne. This shows the Royal Cypher , the ER letters (Elizabeth Regina) and the crown, together with the jubilee dates. A very neat commemorative weight. and would make an appropriate memento of the Queens reign. Also contains the Whitefriars logo in a cane in the garland.
Excellent condition, measuring 81mm or 3 1/8th inches diameter. This is marked on the base as number 686 of an edition of approx.1000. Ref: 00893
