Description
This one of Drew’s famous canyon paperweights, based upon the landscape around his home in Colorado. Whilst he is an expert in millefiori, this landscape project made Drew develop new techniques which involve building up the scene from the river, through various rock layers of the canyon, to the vegetation and loose rocks on the canyons edge, and even (in this case) a layer of clouds floating above the scene. Not easy to photograph but impressive in real life, moreso in the light of the painstaking process of building up the paperweight.
