Caithness – “Closing Ceremony”
Patriotic Union Jack paperweight from Caithness Glass. Large, conical, with angled front window. Rear and sides cut with shooting stars. The closing ceremony was that of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Patriotic Union Jack paperweight from Caithness Glass. Large, conical, with a large angled front window to show the design. The rear and sides are then cut with shooting stars. The closing ceremony was that of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, but, surprisingly, I believe that very few of these weights were produced.
Engraved on the base, but not numbered. Purchased directly from Caithness Glass, so “as new” condition, but for the sake of completeness a tiny area of fine bubbles has reached the surface close to the second star on the back right. It does not detract. Measures 83mm or 3 3/8th ins diameter, and approx 100m or 3 3/4ins high Ref: 02195
